VEET EasyWax Kit Review
How do you feel about waxing your legs? Until recently, I avoided it. It wasn't only a pain metaphorically, but quite painful. Not only was it a mess with the wax, but I have burned myself more than once applying wax. For this reason, I have always stuck to shaving. Recently, I however, I was able to try something new through Influenster, the VEET EasyWax system. Unlike traditional waxing systems, the system heats up the wax for you, allowing you to roll it on and go. Reading more about it when my Voxbox came in the mail, I couldn't wait to get started!

VEET EasyWax: Set Up
Out of all the waxing systems I have tried, the VEET Easywax has to be the easiest. All you have to do is attach the waxing cartridge to the unit, plug it in, and wait for the unit to heat up the wax. Really ,waiting is the hardest part since it can take anywhere from 20 – 40 minutes (mine took the latter) for the unit to finish. If the unit is ready, the wax will easily glide on and give you no issues.
VEET EasyWax: Does it Work?
I have to say that the EasyWax was very hit or miss with me. Sometimes it did a great job evenly distributing wax. Others it was a fight getting enough wax on my legs. The end result was me having patches of hair left behind by the wax. In the areas where the wax worked, it was smooth and didn't even sting. The problem was that I couldn't exactly leave the house with the uneven wax job. Since the instructions say you need to wait a few days before attempting to wax again, I ended up shaving the rest of my leg, which was a major disappointment.
VEET EasyWax: Overall
While the VEET EasyWax was fairly hit or miss, I have to say that it is the easiest waxing system I have tried to date. You don't have worry about dealing with messy wax and its very difficult to burn yourself with this waxing system. I just wish that it was more consistent with the amount of wax it released on the roller. It would likely be much better if it had something to help waxers adjust the amount of wax coming out of the unit. Even though I am willing to give it another shot, I can't call it the most practical thing on the market. For this reason, I give the VEET EasyWax a C- rating. While it has potential, it does take quite a bit of practice, making it not the best waxer for beginners like me! Until I have time to really sit down and work with it, I am going to stick with my razor!
