Piczzle Photo Puzzles Review: Saving Memories with Puzzles

Piczzle Photo Puzzles Review: Saving Memories with Puzzles

Were there certain things you loved doing as a kid? While I loved playing outside or trying out the latest video game for my NES (yes, I'm really that old), I also loved playing with simpler toys and games, like puzzles. I have many fond memories of getting nature and animal puzzles from one of my mother's friends, who absolutely loved puzzles. Now that I'm an adult and spend most of my time working with technology, I wish I had time for more of the simpler things in life, including putting together a puzzle. Today, you can even quickly make or order your own custom puzzles, making the experience even more personalized and fun! Knowing that some of you have children who would love the chance to have their own custom family themed puzzle or pet puzzle, I jumped at the opportunity to review a Piczzle photo puzzle!

Over the past decade, the concept of families being able to make their own custom picture puzzle has really caught on. YEars ago, if you wanted a custom puzzle, you would expected to pay hundreds of dollars for the puzzle, without knowing what the quality would be like, especially once the company turned your picture into a puzzle. Today, one of the most well known places where you can order high quality, custom puzzles is Piczzle. This puzzle company is one of the leading experts online when it comes to custom jigsaw puzzles, having supplied picture puzzles online for over 13 years.

So, why are more people wanting to turn their favorite picture into a puzzle? For one, they are one of the best ways to keep precious memories alive. Rather than keep a favorite picture locked away in a frame, you can turn your favorite family memory into an interactive game with the entire family. While some puzzles may seem boring or challenging, many people love working on puzzles, especially when they are a picture of their family or reminder of their favorite pet! What makes Piczzle stand out from their competition, however, is the fact that they make both high quality cardboard and wooden puzzles, allowing you the chance to order a puzzle that doesn't just look amazing, but is very inexpensive too!

Piczzle Photo Puzzles: Ordering Experience

When I first found out I was going to have an opportunity to review one of Piczzle's puzzles, I was pleasantly surprised when I found out I got to actually use their website. It's not very often that companies are willing to have us review the ordering process. Like many of you, I don't want to waste my time on a site that doesn't work properly or makes the entire ordering process a pain. From my own experience, I am happy to report that ordering a picture puzzle from this company really is easy. Not only can you turn your own digital picture into puzzle, but you have dozens of different options to choose from, including a variety of sizes and shapes. One of the things that I thought was particularly nifty was the fact that you can order your puzzle in traditional cardboard or as an old fashion wooden puzzle!

As for turnaround time, I was really surprised at how quickly they had the puzzle to me. Within six business days, they made the puzzle and had right to my mailbox. As you can see from the picture below, they even send you the puzzle in a nice, high quality box, a safe nice place to keep your special puzzle. I was also happy to see that the box proudly stamps that the puzzle was printed and cut in the United States! From an ordering standpoint, things couldn't have gone any better, faster or easier!

Piczzle Photo Puzzles: Quality

As you can see from the picture, I decided to make a puzzle of my favorite hamster, Nuri. For those of you who follow Budget Earth, you probably saw my article about caring for hamsters. One of the pictures for this article turned out so well that I thought it would be an amazing puzzle! Knowing it was a fun, high quality photo, I went with the medium sized puzzle, which measured the same size as a standard sheet of paper finished (8 1/2" x 11"). Since I knew it was going to be adorable, I couldn't wait to open my picture puzzle when it arrived in the mail!

When I first opened the box to my photo puzzle, I have to say I was amazed with the quality of this puzzle. I had never seen a puzzle made with such thick, high quality cardboard. Like many of you, I have received cheap small puzzles as gifts, or rather, wedding favors. While they are cheap in price, these other cheap picture puzzles are just as lacking in quality. When I got this puzzle, I was worried it might be the same. Instead, I opened a high quality puzzle cardboard jigsaw saw that was well made, with even the picture itself having a beautiful, smooth, glossy finish. Wanting to see how the puzzle would hold up, I put it together four times straight . i am happy to report that the pieces didn't even look worn.

Piczzle Photo Puzzles: Overall

From my own experience, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with Piczzle photo puzzles. These aren't just the cheap puzzles made by most printing shops of the past, but high quality puzzles that aren't going to rip or fall apart anytime soon. With how much I love my puzzle of Nuri, I think at least some of my fans would love making one of these custom puzzles for your own children, or as a way to remember your favorite family pet. From the overall ordering experience and quality of the puzzle, I give Piczzle an A+ rating.
